Pain lots or little?

I had surgery Friday and so far today I haven't taken any pain meds, I did go to the grocery today though and did some laundry so I'm a little sore now and I feel like some of the gas is coming back around. I'm planning on going back to work tomorrow and I know I will be exhausted but I don't really Have a choice.

I should also prob add that I had my Lapband of 6 years removed at the same time.

The first thing is: Everyone's Experience & Pain Tolerance is Different (as you can see by the responses)

I had no pain where the incisions were......just a slight soreness where the stomach was removed....I tend to handle the big things easily, but break a nail, and I'm a baby....no pain meds needed.

I was walking in the recovery room (scared about that gas pain I had heard about).....eyes were still blurry from the anesthesia, had a nurse on each side, and I walked every hour until a room was ready 4 hours later.....
