I start my presurgery liquid diet tomorrow for a week. I cannot believe in 1 short week, my life is going to change completely! I've been prepping, preparing, and DREAMING about this for years!!! However, as excited as I am, I'm finding myself equally nervous and scared. I know I'm not alone in this. Any words of advice from the "pros" who have gone through this on how to calm the nerves? I'm feeling a bit like Rapunzel in Tangled where she goes through intense happiness to extreme panic. Help a girl out!

I feel the same way! My surgery is a week from tomorrow and I'm finally catching on that this is REALLY happening! Suddenly, the words "permanent" and "irreversible" are haunting me! I spent too much time planning this to ever back out, but I could really use some comforting words from people who have been here.

Congrats, your journey is about to begin...it's extremely normal to feel nervous and scared. Just remember you have done all the necessary research and you chose the right surgeon to perform the sleeve. Good Luck!!
