I want to know if anyone eats the frozen fruit bars they sell at the grocery store. That say "real fruit, no sugar added"

This weekend I purchased a box and they make me way to happy. Anyone else eat these?!?

Do you mean the Edie's sugar-free Fruit Bars? Yeah, they are so good I had to stop eating them -- I could go through 4-6 a day. So, back to sugar-free popsicles for me. Fewer calories and less of a trigger food for me. But, I hope you enjoy them!

They're amazing, but be careful you may start eating more than 5 a day. To much of a trigger. Had to turn away.

No just regular frozen fruit bars at Kroger. 25 calories each but they worry me some...I can two quickly.

The sugar free popsicles, I get tired of eating...quick. Maybe that's the issue, I'm afraid of enjoying and that it may be a trigger food. I've had lots of stress in my life the past two Weeks and I think I'm using food as comfort.

You may want to watch the wording on those fruit bar boxes- "no sugar added" is not the same as "sugar free". I've looked at those before and I think it was over 18 carbs per bar! Look for the ones that say "sugar free" but still flip it over to look at the nutrition info to be sure. My favourites are the Outshine sugar free fruit bars- (tangerine, strawberry & raspberry) 25 calories and 6 carbs per bar- they taste heads and tails better than the Popsicle brand sugar free bars (15 calories and 4 carbs). For me, the trade off of 10 more calories and 2 more carbs is worth it. Enjoy! Another fave is Yasso Greek yogurt bars in coconut- 80 calories, 12 g carbs, 6 G Protein.< /p>

Here's a second for the Outshine bars! They are terrific. I can usually taste (and hate) that yucky fake sugar taste, but if you didn't know these were sugar free, you'd never know! They were a life saver for me during week two when it was nearly 100 degrees here and I could only take little wasp sips of Water.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
