mlowell 39 Posted September 17, 2013 Just wondered if anyone has frozen a Protein Shake and ate it like ice cream? It seems like a reasonably good idea....doesn't it? 1 T'snewstart reacted to this
mparkersmith 72 Posted September 17, 2013 Never tried freezing my shake, but I do blend it with ice every morning. Here's my formula: 6 oz. Water, 12 oz. ice, and 2 scoops of Protein Powder, pulse blender until nice and smooth with no big chunks. I usually use a mix of one scoop chocolate Protein powder and one scoop espresso or mocha protein powder. Every now and then I'll throw in half a banana. Mmmmm, deelish! hopingtolose2013 81 Posted September 17, 2013 Yes! I freeze them..buy only until they are like a slushie. It says not to freeze but my nut suggested it. Idk if you should but it is delish!

I wonder why they say not to freeze? I used to work at a nursing home and we would freeze ensure for the residents....so I thought it seemed logical. 1 Jiggly Puff reacted to this

Jiggly Puff 53 Posted September 17, 2013 Yes, I freeze them. I make chocolate shake pops in little paper cups and popsicle sticks. They are cheaper and better for you than the frozen popsicles at the store. There is no reason at all not to make them. None what so ever. Enjoy!
J.Diesel 220 Posted September 17, 2013 I freezed chocolate and it reminded me of eating a chocolate frosty. Very tasty.

Oh, that is a GREAT idea because I am getting tired of SF popsicles. 1 Jiggly Puff reacted to this
