Question about ultrasound

So, I have to have a pelvic ultrasound on saturday and while making the appointment was told that I have to drink 32 oz of Fluid before going in so I have a full bladder. How am I supposed to do that in such a short amount of time?? That usually takes me hours to get the much liquid in during the day.

No I didn't really think about it until I was off the phone and it dawned on me that I wasn't sure I could drink that much in a short amount of time. I was thinking I would drink as much as I could before hand and hope it was enough...

I would call them and explain it. They can probably accomplish the same thing with a catheter - filling your bladder with saline. Without it having to go through your stomach.

I would call them... Don't do anything that could hurt you or your stomach
