I wouldn't recommend Centrum for anyone, your body does not absorb them, they have done studies and have found whole centrums in the sewer systems, I wouldn't even trust the chewables.< /p>

My NUT said only flintstone complete chewables. She said that gummies if any kind have enough added sugars to possibly cause reaction.

What did your program or office suggest for you?

As far as Protein shakes go, I bought the starter pack off www.unjury.com. It came recommended from my program also. I do have pure Protein that I have now and I like it, but realize I may need the powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury post op if my tastes change.

Hi, I was given a list by my Dr and this is what I was told. BTW I get all my Vitamins at costco. It's just cheaper and you get a lot more. calcium citrate w/500 mg of Calcium. Women's one a day multivitamin. B-12 2500mcg sublingual and I chose to take hair/skin/nails (5000mcg of Biotin),. I make sure I taken them with my Protein Shake or food.I will get sick if I don't. ;)

No problem. I started taking my Vitamins in June. I take Natures Bounty hair, skin and nails. On the bottle is says take two capsules a day but, I only take one because they give me loose stools (sorry, I know TMI) and, I am running for my life to the bathroom, lol. There is a liquid form of Biotin. I don't know if that would be better for you. They sell them on Amazon.com, I have never checked for them at costco.

How are you feeling after your surgery? I hope everything went well.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
