KittyBoozie 0 Posted January 18, 2007 can I get a self loan to pay for it? Will I have to see a nutritionist, therapist, and psyc? Or can I just find a doctor and get it done with cash? I do know in Mexico you only have to be 20lbs over weight but I am assuming in US I still have to have a 40 bpm, right? Kitty:faint:
coltonwade 27 Posted January 18, 2007 There are some financing options for self pay . Best thing to do is to do a search for "Self Pay" and it should bring up all the options for you . The doc Im using ( self pay) does still require the nutrionist, psych exam , ect before surgery . however his price is resonable . Its $12,000 including the cost of fills for the first yr. The pre op testing and appts will run me about $750 I belive his BMI requirement is 35 with comorbidities . Here is his website . http://www.saweightlosscenter.com/ Im going to be self pay HOPEFULLY by the end of next month. Good luck Mindy

blugini59 0 Posted July 12, 2007 You can get a Medical Loan. There are many finance institutions that have these available. I did get my band in Mexico, but I used one of these medical finance institutions to pay for half of the cost. A lot of times once you choose a Doctor they will be members of several banks or finance groups that you can apply and go through.
