Details!! How much does this generally cost? I just want the face lift. You luck AWESOME!

THe costs vary depending on exactly what you want...you really shouldn't have the face without then neck...but of course, it is always up to you. But, that said...between $6500-7500, I guess. You would have to send pictures and let Dr Niebles know exactly what you want after he makes a recommendation,

Congratulations! You look wonderful. I had neck and lower face done but had the complication of a hematoma...NOT FUN.. I am 2 1/2 months out and still very swollen. I am looking forward to seeing the results though.Khy

Hang in there, girlie! I a nine months out and my left ear is still somewhat numb! It takes time...Dr N told me up to one year for all nerves to get back to normal. I had to sleep with one of those travel neck pillows just up until last month...putting my ear in the hole portion when I slept on my side. It was a life saver!

Yep I sleep with one of those travel pillows also. For some reason my ears hurt so bad after the surgery. Lost my tragus piercings too... They were covered up with skin. Dr. told me to have them repierced from the back.... I am not sure he knows how these thing work...LOLKhy

You look fabulous! I'd love to be rid of my turkey wattle and saggy cheeks, but I'm afraid. I'm really quite the chicken. It took a lot for me to decide to have WLS. I spent years trying to lose the weight.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
