Before I decided to go to Mexico. I went to bariatric solutions in greenville. The cash price was 12' date='500 for the sleeve. You have to go to the classes before surgery and buy there preop shakes and stuff. Classes are included in the price I think. I paid 4700 plus airfare to Mexico but that might be an option for you. I was a little freaked out at the thought at first but honestly think I got better care there than I would have here. I wish insurance would get on board more with weightloss surgeries.[/quote']

Dr. Alvarez is a great doctor. I was sleeved 09.27.13. No problems and down 25 pounds.

Down 25 since surgery. I'm down 50 pounds including pre op. Keep in mind I'm in the 300's.

I have heard good things about dr. Alvarez. You will have a good experience. Just remember to walk walk walk and that everyday gets better. I didn't have much pain. The trip was not bad either. The hotels are nice. It's almost like a vacation. When is your surgery scheduled ??
