B-12 is not a mandatory Vitamin to take on a daily basis! I was wondering if anyone takes it as part of their Vitamin regimen and how much do you take! I talked with a pharmacist and he said if you took more than your body needed you would just urinate out what your body didn't need! I bought some in hopes that it would help me with a little more energy!!! Help please!! Thanks

Kim

B-12 was on my Doctor's mandatory list... I use the GNC lozenges.

Was told to take sublingual B12 twice a week for life. Didn't know in the beginning I needed it and once I started taking it I noticed a tremendous increase in my energy.

I just received my blood results and my B12 was elevated-2000 and its supposed to be between 211-946. I've been taking 10,000mcg a day and i'm only supposed to take one a day otherwise the rest of my results were fantastic. I think I'll stop for a couple of weeks and start again at just one a day. I'm such a dummy but I had absolutely no energy since the GS.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
