alpleasant 0 Posted September 11, 2013 Hi my name is Alicia and I had the gastric sleeve 3 weeks ago and I am currently on the puree stage and I was wondering if I could eat raviolis for this stage. Alicia.P.
kltklass 144 Posted September 11, 2013 I wouldn't. Pasta may not be on your approved list. I would stick with liquid or baby food. That being said, everyone is different. Double check with your NUT or Doctor.
Mkak 251 Posted September 11, 2013 I agree, Pasta is explicitly listed as a "no-no" on my puréed list. Are you allowed ricotta at this point by your surgeon? If yes, you could just eat the insides with the sauce (assuming they are cheese ravioli).
alpleasant 0 Posted September 11, 2013 What are a list of foods that you ate? I'm just wanting to try different things. And yeah I forgot the raviolis are Pasta but what are other things?. Alicia.P.

desertgirl6801 63 Posted September 11, 2013 3 weeks post op. on the 'mushy food stage' now. usually have cream of wheat for Breakfast or scrambled eggs. For lunch some sort of creamed Soup and for dinner I can have canned meats (chicken, tuna, salmon) mixed with lite/fat free mayo. cant stomach the tuna, havent tried salmon but i'm loving the chicken. its soft and goes down nicely. mashed potatoes, fat free refried Beans, mashed sweet potatoes are also on my list. WeeWers 48 Posted September 12, 2013 Your nutritionist knows alot more about what is and isn't ok to eat at any phase. How about asking her ) WeeWers
