1SuperBonBon 221 Posted September 25, 2013 I go in for my pre-op October 4th, but from what I understand it is a 10 day Liquid Protein diet. The Doctor's office has all the supplies for me. I will pick up everything on the 4th of October. 1 Smile! reacted to this

NorCalGirl48 16 Posted September 26, 2013 My official surgery date is Oct 5 and now my surgeon maybe changing his recommendation and wanting me to have bypass instead. Having gastric bypass scares me!! Mine was urging me to do that too. I held my ground as I have no comorbidities. No absorption problems, less risky, no intestinal manipulation, quicker recovery. Less life long malabsorption issues etc. 1 raven123 reacted to this
rensterness85 71 Posted September 26, 2013 My doctors program just requires a 24 hour surface free liquid diet prior to surgery. Although I have been preparing myself by replacing two meals with a Premier Protein (best ever) shake, with one normal meAl. Will be sleeved October 9th! Anyone else for October 9th?
