crawdad2 1 Posted September 10, 2013 I'm 7 days post op and this is my last day of Clear Liquids. I've been having what I think are hungry pains but then again I'm thinking is just that the stomach is healing and causing pain. I still have pain meds I Can take but I'm just trying to stay off them. Is this normal? 1 slimagainsoon reacted to this
colorado_bound 5 Posted September 10, 2013 Yes, the grumbling is your stomach adjusting. I had it for 4 weeks. Even now it does grumble when I eat. My trick is to always have something in your stomach. Try to only go a couple of hours between meals. It gets better! 1 slimagainsoon reacted to this

Pookeyism 1,143 Posted September 10, 2013 Try a sugar free antacid like tums free (avoid pepto bismol). Acid often makes us feel hungry.

Your stomach is still healing and sometimes its head hungry and drinking Water helps or having a healthy snack. My dr, said I should be eating something every two hrs when woke.
