NTL44 43 Posted September 10, 2013 Well I was sleeved a little over a month ago and all has been going great until today I'm receiving a little pain after I just ate. Its almost like a burning feeling and then it starts to ache. I'm still on soft foods until sept. 30th. It's also my time of the month which tends to give me miserable stomach aches but this is kind of new. Has anybody else experienced this or know what it could be? I do not have any other pain or a fever, no shortness of breath so I don't think it's a leak. But Is it possible to rip your suture line and cause a leak from eating? I've been so strict with my diet so I don't see how I could have but I'm just curious if any of you know if that's happened.
Justinh125 472 Posted September 10, 2013 I suspect that if you had a leak it would hurt all the time. It might just be that your stomach is full and its painful to overeat
dwhitten 2 Posted September 10, 2013 when I overeat or don't chew my food well enough I get that feeling just take your time and go slow.
NTL44 43 Posted September 10, 2013 I've been trying to be more aware of my chewing. It's funny how they drill it and drill it into your head but still sometimes you mindlessly do not do it. The pain has actually gone down some so I'm hoping that's a good sign. Thank you both for your input!
TJL 222 Posted September 10, 2013 Also sometimes if you eat too fast you can get pains, I know because I'm guilty of eating too fast!
