Anti-Semitism In France!

Recommended Posts

I never thought of "unpatriotic" as an insult.

Green, unfortunately your entire point just flew over some heads.

I guess we missed it! So what do you base your Christianity on if not the Bible???

Where did I say I didn't base my faith on the Bible?

Is that part of your belief system or is that a typical liberal response??

Can't speak for Carlene, but for me, responses like that are pure frustration. What Clinton did was wrong, but thousands of people haven't died for it.

Well I , and millions of others don't think what Bush did was wrong given what we all knew at the time, including all the Democrats that voted for the war, and the British as well. In face, Hillary was on of the biggest supporters.

Perhaps you need to be more careful about your impressions?

I never said I didn't use the Bible as the basis of my faith. I do think, as do you, that it can't always be taken literally.

Ron, you are quite wrong about Bush and about his administration and the way he got us into this war. That he lied to the Congress, including Senator Clinton, is not something you should be bragging about. That he lied to his people, the people who elected him is not something that any of us should put up with. His trickiness isn't quite as covert as Nixon's, but he's just as tricky - or tries to be.

You are flatly mistaken.

So how do you know what part to believe and what part not to believe??

Are you saying your faith is based upon something that you can't count on to be 100% accurate??

Furthermore Ron, just because you didn't SEE Lisa's or wavydaby's, TOM's or my response about your ridiculous claim that we don't base our faith on the Bible, doesn't mean that it wasn't there. Lots and lots of things seem to get misunderstood or ignored by you.

Hey, listen... we do count on the Bible as accurate. We know it isn't literal - you know that - we all know that. The fact that you keep beating the proverbial dead horse with absolutlely no real facts with which to base your opinion, is plumb silly. Especially considering you're continuing with behavior that you have accused practically everyone here of doing. And especially considering your arguments were dealt with many pages ago and we all understood them at the time. You are just mistaken and where do you get that?

He didn't lie! He presented the intelligence that was provided to him by the CIA and the British. Granted it was faulty intelligence, at least in part, but he didn't lie. If that was something that liberals could prove, we would be looking at a pending impeachment. That is pure liberal hype!

If it isn't literal that how can it be accurate? Do you just pick and choose what you want to believe as literal, and the rest discard because you don't like it? No, this was never dealth with before, just evaded!!

You have said more then once that the Bible is to be taken literally, expect when it's clear it's not? Or have I misunderstood you?

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
