Runny Egg yolk ok on full liquids?

Can I just have the runny yellow part? Figuring it is good for Protein too.

I was told absolutely no raw egg when I asked the nutritionist. I really like eggnog and I figured it would be an easy way for me to get my Protein in. But to my dismay. my NUT said NO!

Well shoot. I had one spoonful this morning, but I had Water before and after, so hopefully it's ok. Wonder why it's off limits when blended and strained Soups are ok?
