Before my surgery I would wear whatever fit and was comfortable. Now I am having fun trying on things for the first time in a long time. Like you, I don't want to buy a whole lot now, but you do have to have something to wear now, right? I have been having fun going to consignment shops and thrift shops. I have gotten some really cute things and havent had to pay alot for them.

buy long shirts that have some kind of belt or tie at the waist. Depending on your shape the belt can be placed at your waist or slightly higher up.

My suggestion for a coat would be a nice form fitting blazer. You can typically buy good quality ones on clearance real cheap. As you shrink in size you can always have them altered to "refit" you.

Also, for all you ladies and gents, instead of getting rid of your clothes as soon as they are too big, please consider having them altered. It is relatively less expensive than buy new. Or if you are handy take out your sewing machine an try doing it yourself. Shirts and t-shirts can simply be "fixed" by adding a few darts (gathered and sewn flat) on the front and/or back.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
