carolina c 20 Posted September 6, 2013 I'm 2 weeks out today and I'm still exhausted. I do a good amount of stuff during the day, but end up having to take a nap mid day. But I'm just dragging my self when will the energy come in?
cindymg 629 Posted September 6, 2013 I was exhausted until about 3 weeks out. When I started on soft foods, and started walking more then my energy returned. Now 4 months later I should be able to bottle and sell my energy I have so much. Hang in there. It will get better. 2 cbware01 and carolina c reacted to this

mirabelle 64 Posted September 6, 2013 I'm on week 5 and just starting to get my energy back. No naps this week and feeling great. I had some internal bleeding 3 days post op that set me back a week though. Good luck! 1 carolina c reacted to this
smryan 17 Posted September 6, 2013 I will be 2 weeks post op this coming Monday and I'm right with you! Exhausted and napping during the day (which is frustrating as I'm usually a go go go kind of girl). I'm glad to hear this will soon end (crossing fingers). Best of luck to you! 1 carolina c reacted to this

I will be 2 weeks on Tuesday and I felt like that at first and I realized that I had to eat a snack I between meals . Phase 2 foods. Hope this helps you also you have to be consitant with it . kbg29520 18 Posted September 7, 2013 It will take a few weeks. Be kind to yourself and do what you can and rest. It does get better. Like others have said, I felt much stronger when I could eat more and excercise. I am almost 4 weeks out and I feel so much better. I've been cleaning and organizing everything since I still can't tackle the big things. But it is nice to start cleaning out the closet and seeing a difference in myself.......down 38 lbs total! 18 since surgery. 1 carolina c reacted to this

NMJG 1,266 Posted September 8, 2013 Me too, was just exhausted until week three, when it started to improve. I'm still not 100% but at least I can function. Every week is better. 1 kbg29520 reacted to this
