gibson_girl 108 Posted September 5, 2013 I'm 4 months out and lately have been hungry 24/7 and Water or other cold Fluid would make me nauseated. I experienced this for about a week before realizing I likely had silent reflux. 2 days on Prilosec and I'm back to reminding myself I need to eat and loving my Water bottles. You don't have to feel burning, taste acid ect. I'm glad I caught it quick! 2 Dannipo and rebecca_dsu reacted to this
MWilliams42 28 Posted September 5, 2013 I'm beginning to wonder...how do you know you are having reflux? Can you tell me what that feels like? I experience, after each time I eat, hiccups, gurgling, and occasionally burping or the reaction of burping. How can you tell if it's just the "sleeve" saying stop putting things in me, to this is reflux? HELP!!!
gibson_girl 108 Posted September 5, 2013 I felt grumbling in my stomach that made me "feel" like I should eat something almost all the time and wasn't able to drink anything without nausea or discomfort. I feel good as new, symptoms have 90% gone away and I feel sleeved again!
gibson_girl 108 Posted September 5, 2013 How far are you out? If I eat just a little too I get hiccups, burping, pain, sneezing, eyes watering ect. Know your limits, it takes time to fine tune.
gibson_girl 108 Posted September 5, 2013 Too much can be a tiny fork full. That is why you should eat very slow......but this isn't reflux. It's not stuffing yourself
MWilliams42 28 Posted September 5, 2013 I'm 6 weeks out, still reminding myself to chew, chew, chew...and to eat slow. It is a lot of work reminding myself of all these things!! I appreciate you taking the time to answer, I just didn't want to be getting this reflux that eventually can turn to something bad.
