You're in the 3 week stall. There's not much you can do about it. Just ride it out and keep doing the right things.

Here's an interesting read about it....

http://www.dsfacts.com/weight-loss-stall-or-plateau.html

As for calories....at your stage I would think the real goal is to get in your Protein and Water...doubtful you'll have too much room left to eat excessive calories so my thoughts would be to not try to limit yourself to an arbitrary number. You're not on a diet. But from what I've seen, 600-800 is pretty typical. And as for carbs....I always aimed for about 30% of my calories.....but only after I was hitting my minimum Protein requirements. So at 600 calories that would be 45 grams of carbs...preferably green veggies and no starches.

Have you gotten advice from your program? Generally (and programs ARE different) until the 8th week you are either in pureed or soft foods, and the focus is (1) get your Water in and (2) Protein. If you have ANY (after your protein)room after your protein... then some cooked veggies or fruit. Stay away from starchy carbs for now. You will likely stay away from breads, rice, potatoes for at least 6 months.

BUT again, ptograms vary...

How many calories? It depends on your height and weight and activity. Your NUT is your best source!

Stall??? no worries... Just be (and this is hard) patient and follow your program.

2-3 hours a day. at only 3 weeks out? That's a lot, puts the system under a lot of stress ... plus, cardio may be good generally for your health but it isn't good for weight loss. I am a 3 year veteran and my two cents opinion is to concentrate on weight lifting/muscle building, and keep your carbs as low as possible to maximize your honeymoon phase, I'd say lower than 35grams per day.

I don't do more then 45 mins at a times plus I space out my workout through out the day I have alot of free time on my hands being out of work and all.. Thanks my surgeon said it was fine doing my workouts because I'm not lifting weights but he said try it if it hurts don't do it again for a bit.. I live in Vermont weathers changing so I'm trying to enjoy the outdoors before its too cold!!

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
