Beach Lover 1,084 Posted September 4, 2013 You know we are all in the same boat as you are. food was our best friend no matter what emotion we were experiencing. Sometimes if our emotions are more intense we eat more but as a rule we just eat! This requires recognizing why you want food and figuring out what you can do to alleviate the emotions without eating. In addition you just have to ignore that junk food monster lurking to hook you at every turn. Start looking at some go to foods that you can have to avoid those binge moments. Here are a few links that I have found helpful. www.theworldaccordingtoeggface.com http://bariatricfoodie.blogspot.com/ http://yourlighterside.com/
AnnMarie1957 42 Posted September 5, 2013 You are not alone. I was sleeved in 7/18. I am committed to healthy eating but I do feel like I'm missing old friends. I made the decision to see a counselor who specializes in eating disorders. It helps a lot. 1 southernladymlm reacted to this

I felt the same way about Protein shakes. Everyone raves about Premiere shakes. I hated those and most other shakes. After drinking them for months, my tastes have adapted and I actually kind of like them now. Granted, I still drink them because I have to however I no longer dread them.
