tdutko75 6 Posted September 3, 2013 I am completely freaking out... So nervous, anxious etc... I want this surgery so bad so I can be healthy and active and keep up with my kids but I am so scared something may happen. I can't even get myself to pack my bag for the hospital because it doesn't feel real yet. I think I need a valium!
Norseman's Rage 12 Posted September 3, 2013 You poor thing. My surgery is later this week and am beginning to get "anxious" as well. Hoping I'm doing the right thing, and not creating more issues than what get resolved. I hope all goes well for you tomorrow!
lemassey76 12 Posted September 3, 2013 I'm sure y'all will be fine. I wasn't nervous going in, but I regretted it on day one. That was down to not having the right pain control. I had great nurses, and of course a great surgeon, so once the pain issue was resolved I was okay. I think the only reason I wasn't nervous is that I've had so many surgeries. It is definitely worth it. Just remember to take it slow after surgery. Don't be in a rush to eat. It took me awhile to get over that! I'd love to have a cheeseburger, but for now I'm happy with my poached eggs. I'm just 5 weeks out and I've lost 51 pounds. My husband is about 16 months out and has lost 200.
