HydraCoach Digital Water Bottle

Recommended Posts

Puritans Pride has a digital Water bottle that makes life so much easier.

It keeps track of all your Fluid intake in a 24 hour period. It is so nice to not have to add up every drink throughout the day. I just look at the end of the day at the display and put that on MFP.

You can put all liquids in it as far as I know. Protein shakes may be too thick but they may work as well.

They are $20 each at Puritans Pride website.

How does it work? I looked it up but it didn't tell me anything about it.

It has a long thick straw and it measures the amount of liquid you drink. It has a digital output on the outside that tells you how many ounces you drank.

It is correct too. The first few time I wrote down the amount I put in and it was always right on target.

It also has a little carrying handle so its easy to take walking or on the go.

Oh yeah, it measures in a 24 hour period then resets for the day or you can reset it manually.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
