No meds in pill form...call yr dr ask for liquid pain meds...or ask Walgreen pharm for chewable pain meds

I think Aleve is on the no-no list (forever) along with Advil, Motrin, etc... I took childrens liquid Tylenol. Cant seem to find adult strength in liquid form.

I had them too, was told Tylenol was good and that was third day after. Drink low cal Gatorade too

There's a no no list?

yes, there is a no-no list and I didn't find out about that until the day of surgery... how did I miss that in my research?? Here is a link. Its not a page Im familiar with, but its basically what my doc told me too:

Aleve is an NSAID and can cause havic on your stomach. You HA may be a result of dehydration so perhaps drink as much Fluid a you can today, especially Gatorade or any that has electrolytes in there. :P

My surgeons are actually ok with NSAIDS post op, in moderation of course.
