At my pre op apt. Did my blood work and met with surgeon, now doing EKG. Dr. Says I don't need to so a pre op liquid diet!!! Only the day before surgery. Sooo happy about that. Starting to get really nervous! Need to arrive on the 10th at 11am

oh wow! Never heard of that, but that's great. Saves you from doing what my bad self did (hides in shame). The week before I started liquids, I ate everything I THOUGHT I would crave post op. Maybe it was for the best, I haven't eaten any of that bad food since!

Congrats! I agree with each surgeon is different. I've had none of the pre-op bloodwork, EKG, etc, but my doc just wants me doing a 2 day liquid diet. Other people with a different surgeon in the same practice have to do 2 weeks. Sometimes there's no method to the madness
