so the first week post op I had Lost a total of 24 pounds 7 of that was pre op.. After the first week the second I weighted the same now the third week I weighted myself and I have gained about 3-4 pounds not only I'm in a stall since week one but I am gaining weight! Now I have heard about stalls but so early out is it normal? And how about the gaining?

I was reading and I'm not sure why but didn't look at the failure ratio of the sleeve and its a 30%.. I'm so scared I'm in that 30%... Any reassurance guys would be great to me :,(

Back away from the scale. You'll make yourself nuts. Resolve to only weigh at the doctor's office. That's what I do -- and I've never had a stall. Because even if I hadn't lost or even gained from one day to the next, I don't know it. I am 3.5 months post op, down 52 lbs, co morbidities resolved, and not living and dying by a fickle, lying scale.

If you are following your doctor's plan, getting your fluids and Proteins in, taking your Vitamins and moving every day you will not fail.

Good luck on your journey. It's going to be amazing!

^^^^^ The voice of reason.

People....burn those scales. They're a bunch of lying evil temptresses. They tease you and toy with your emotions by offering you easily attainable satisfaction...then they ****** all hope and joy from life. And ironically, they don't even begin to tell the whole story.

You are right I think I need to back away from that scale I just feel my pants a little more tighter that's why I was freakin out but I am going to take your advise and won't weight myself follow doctors instructions and wait until I weight myself at the docs office... Thank you!
