ww412 1 Posted August 29, 2013 I'm now one month post op and I'm cleared to eat just about anything! I really want to stick to my low carb/high Protein diet cause being 45 lbs down seems to be working for me (; but once I get to the grocery store I feel so overwhelmed. So I need a lot of help in that department! I live in a small town with just a Walmart and an HEB so if you shop there I would love to know some of your staple items that you buy every time you're at the store. Any suggestions would help! Thanks in advance! 1 Chrissy219 reacted to this
MIJourney 490 Posted August 29, 2013 I pretty much shop the perimeter in any grocery store now for my Proteins.< /p> Also hit the tuna aisle and dairy for yogurt and string cheese.< /p> What I try to keep in the house and easy to grab for 12 hr work shifts. Chobani Greek Lemon Yogurt Kraft Low fat Mozzarella String Cheese Tuna 1% Cottage Cheese Boars Head Ever roast chicken (deli) Morningstar Black Bean Burgers Gorton's Tilapia Simply Bake skim milk eggs Decided to stop buying SF popsicles this week. Was too easy for me to rationalize the cals but the carbs added up. Dropped 3 lbs this week so ok with that. I finally bought some fresh veggies today. Haven't had veggies since May 1 and I love veggies. Will see how that goes:) 2 sanctuary and jbrown reacted to this
