mariamitani 405 Posted August 28, 2013 I have noticed the last 2 weeks I can eat more food without getting uncomfortable. does the sleeve stretch out down the road? I'm 8 months post op. I feel restriction but at about 1.5 oz more than the usual.??? Any advice or thoughts from people who are farther along than me would be appreciated. I'm freaking out a little (I dont wanna get fat again ever!). thanks 3 Tink22-sleeve, ProudGrammy and lalalisa reacted to this
joatsaint 2,814 Posted August 28, 2013 I had read on another post that after 6 months the stomach tends to "relax" a bit and it can hold more. I'm at 8 months and know that I can eat about a cup of food and feel full, previously I was full at 1/2 to 3/4 of a cup. But the difference now, from pre-surgery, is that I can eat a cup of food and walk away - not like the past where I'd be thinking about how soon I could eat again. It just takes a little more vigilance to keep myself on track. 4 mariamitani, Momonanomo, CarryOn7 and 1 other reacted to this
mokee 588 Posted August 28, 2013 I'm 9 months out and sometimes I can eat a whole sandwich. Other times I can barely eat the filling in a sandwich and a few bites of the bread. It depends on the day, who knows. Maybe this is the way normal people eat. I see thin people throw away a lot of there food sometimes and not so much at other times. Maybe I am becoming more normal LOL. 4 Shrinkingmom, gamergirl, Libra102 and 1 other reacted to this
