marfar7 1,533 Posted August 28, 2013 I didn't have a puree stage. Went straight from full liquids to soft foods. But I'm guessing it's some of the same stuff that was on my list: Yogurt, refried Beans, sf pudding, mashed potatoes, cream Soups, etc. Good luck! It'll be even better when you have to actually chew your food!
lemassey76 12 Posted August 28, 2013 For purees, I was told sugar-free pudding, yogurt (f you can find it, Chobani Champions cups are the perfect size), strained cream of chicken Soup, cottage cheese, and baby food. Last night, I made chicken salad and puréed it and I made puréed carrots. That's the thickest food I've had. I'm 4 weeks out. I should be on soft foods but I have had trouble with foods making me sick. dinner last night was great. My best advice is go slow. Try one new thing a day. That way, if something doesn't agree with you, you will know what it was.
Bufflehead 6,358 Posted August 28, 2013 I ate refried Beans, poached eggs (both with melted cheese), cottage cheese, cottage cheese mixed with Peanut Butter, tuna pureed with Sriracha sauce or olive oil mayo, chicken pureed with marinara sauce and topped with melted cheese, chicken pureed with low carb BBQ Sauce, stuff like that. I wasn't allowed pudding, potatoes, cream Soups, etc. 1 Sleeved in Seattle reacted to this
