I am only on my pre op diet and sex is something I want on the daily haha I woke my fiance up at 3am last night but we really don't have it that much. We have been together since we were 15 had sex when we were 18 then around 22 it kinda stopped lol hopefully it will get better after I loose some weight so I can twist and turn and have some fun. Best of luck to all...

I'm pre op 18 days and get it just as much now as I did before. On #4 since Friday. I'm not sure it could get any more frequent, but hopefully the stamina and that extra inch or two these guys are talking about heads my way soon!

That's what I was afraid of! I'm 7 days post op so the skin isn't an issue yet. But I was looking forward to not being as self conscious because of the weight loss but I know if I have gross skin hanging I'll be just as self conscious! Oh well! At least I'll look great with clothes on! Lol

I have enough saggy belly that I'm getting a TT at the end of this month. Still....it hasn't stopped me. Yes I can't wait for it to not be there, but after losing the weight I feel so much better and much "capable"...I just think the saggy skin doesn't look half as bad as rolls of fat, which is what I had before.

Slapping body parts sound better when it's not your own body parts slapping!!!

It's just like a waterbed....you've just got to get in sink with the rhythm.

I'm anticipating needing a TT at some point in my life. And I'm sure I'll get used to my saggy skin! Thanks!

Idk yet. I would like to see what weight I think looks best on me. I've been overweight since I was a child so I'm sure this skin has been stretched for too long to ever look good lol. At surgery I was 263 (8/26), when I got home from the hospital I was 265, and now I'm 256.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
