I think they are made with carbonation so they wouldn't work during liquid phase.

Yeah, icee are carbonated, so no you should not have them post op until you are far enough out to be released for carbonated beverages, time frame varies depending on your Dr., mine said it was ok after about 3 months, but some I have heard say no carbonation ever.

I don't see why u can't throw some crystal lite and ice in a blender. I also think its must 7 Elevens Slurpee that is carbonated. I think the ones u get at like the Target snack bar r not. But ur right, they're full of sugar. It'd be pretty easy to make 1 urself

It's been very hot and VERY humid where I live... A small 7/11 slurpee pretty much saved me from heat stroke yesterday.

When I was still on liquids I would blend Isopure and ice to make my own slurpee. Granted by the end of the week I wanted to throw the isopure at the blender. But it had Protein and low carb.

Kallie doesnt it have carbonation?

My nut said I could have diet soda as long as the carbonation was stirred out so it was flat. I waited till it melted a little bit, which didn't take long in the heat. Stirred it up so it was a slushy and sipped it. No pain, no nothing but relief from the heat. -I'm also 6 weeks post op though
