One week

I'm going to have the gastric sleeve done in one week. I'm nervous, I'm about 220 and hope to be at 150 with in a year. I have two small children and run my own company, so I'm mostly scared about the after. Going back to work, soccer games, and all that! Any advice?

The experiences of people on this board are all over the place regarding going back to work. It definitely depends on the physicality of the work you do, your condition going into surgery, any complications encountered and other factors. Some have had surgery on Friday and returned to work on Monday. Others take six weeks or more. Some start back with abbreviated schedules. It seems to me that most people have reported being off two to three weeks.
