How much do you get each time we click that link? You should disclose that as well.

Yep, she gets $20 also. Here are the terms of the referral program: http://www.bariatricchoice.com/terms-refer-a-friend-rewards.html

The least she could do is offer to split whatever she gets.

Why single this poster out? I have seen a lot of referral posts like this; specifically, one not too long ago with regards to Bariatric Choice which many members took advantage of. Yes, i placed a 100 order because it was all useful stuff for my wife and I. Yes, the original poster got 20 in credit for each referral and each buyer got a 20 deduction if they spent a certain amount. It this particular offer a blatant violation of the posting rules? Not sure about that because it is not any different from all the other referral posts which were not called out. There cannot be different application of the rules.

I agree with Fiddle.

I purchased from a VST link as well & saved $20...There are quite a few links on this forum, I did one as well and people were thankful! Also there is one particular poster that ALWAYS puts up a link.....I haven't seen anyone get on her like you did Lowe1961!

Hey I only made one thread! :P

Really though the deal will be done in a couple of days so... We won't have to bicker about it anymore :D

I will say starting up multiple threads about it though is not cool...

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
