I'm curious how many days of recovery you had. I'm a school teacher and my days are very limited.

I'm a teacher's assistant (Special Ed) and my doctor said 2 weeks; that's why I had it done during summer break!

I'm a teacher too. I felt great after a week but I took two weeks off during the semester. I had a number of sick days accrued so my principal was completely fine with me taking the time off.

Discuss with your principal some options. It might help.

I'm a teacher too and am officially back to work as of this week. I had 2 weeks of recovery, but still a couple more weeks of feeling tired and sluggish. I just reached the 5 week mark and felt very good this week.
