Hillary Clinton, First Woman President of the US. Would you vote for her?

Recommended Posts

Just thought I would take a little poll to see if this country is ready for a change.

1. Would you vote for a woman president?

2. Would that woman be Hillary Clinton?

Just a poll to see the views of this forum.

Well yeah, you're kidn of asking two different questions in one. Would you vote for a woman president, and would you vote for Hillary Clinton. I'd vote for a female candidate if she were the best candidate to me, or - again - the lesser of two evils. That isn't necessarily going to be Hillary Clinton.

Yes, I would vote for a woman president if I liked her. Yes, I would definitely vote for Hilary Clinton. I think Hilary Clinton is great!!!

So many other countries have already had a woman running their countries. I think we are behind as usual.

I don't think it's happening though. I would only vote for who I thought was best and if I thought they had a chance to win.

Yes and yes to Hillary. It will take a smart woman to get us out of the mess that has been created by W.

I'd vote for Hillary Clinton indeed if she were the candidate. I don't yet know who I will be supporting in the Democratic primary, though.

But again, are you asking if we'd vote for a woman, or if we'd vote for Clinton specifically? These are two completely different questions.

As far as I'm concerned, this country has been ready for a female chief executive since 1940.

I will vote for the person who has the best chance of changing the direction that the USA is headed.

For too many years, only WASP's were USA Presidents.

I would vote for Obama or Colin Powell, but not for Condoleezza Rice, though I would vote for Hillary.

I would vote for Hillary TWICE, if I could. My husband is having a hard time with this. He doesn't think a woman or a black man (or woman) can win. So that's his justification for not voting for Hillary. I think he's a sexist pig, personally....LOL.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
