BigLew 125 Posted October 14, 2013 Thanks Biglew. I'm an overthinker (paranoid! ) so I didn't ask my doctor many questions. To be honest I would just blank out when he would talk to me. Anytime Sent from my iPad using VST
back2barb78 890 Posted October 14, 2013 I just had surgery on Saturday. I'm miles away from home but I am thankful for good friends. How likely are leaks and are they easy to repair? I'm worried about coughing causing a leak. :-/ I would assume too that you would have some signs if your sleeve were to leak- stomach acid in the abdominal cavity I would think would be incredibly painful. Just take little sips and hopefully your doc does leak test as well. Also hopefully your doc staples and sutures. {)i(} Sent from my iPhone using VST {)i(} 1 Cristina2931 reacted to this
teresagroup 3 Posted October 14, 2013 Well tomorrow the 15th is the big day. I got a cold Friday but have really been popping Vitamins, loads of tea Water and making sure i get my Protein Shakes and rest and I feel much better. Just got medical clearance this morning. I am a bit nervous about the actual surgery but not about having the procedure. I am a bit excited about the thought of being thin and healthy and possibly becoming a runner in the future. I definitely won't miss this person who can't reach her shoes to tie them and is too exhausted to do anything after sitting at a desk at work all day. I am hoping me having this surgery will push my Husband and son to start watching what they eat too and lose some weight as well. I'll see you all on the other side. 1 Kiki75 reacted to this

I'm in Connecticut. 1 pjackson0523 reacted to this
