back2barb78 890 Posted October 10, 2013 Thank you. How are you feeling? Your a few days post op right? I'm 3 days postop and I feel really good. Just trying to get my fluids in which is a bit of a challenge. The first maybe 24-36 hours I was having nausea, but I had none yesterday. Every sip I take, I get grumble guts (that's what I'm calling it). Just a lot of noise your body makes when you drink. Today I go back to the doctor to get my drain removed and have a leak test. I put a sad face because even though the drain is slightly uncomfortable, that's my safety net that everything's ok in there because I can see the Fluid in the drain is a good color. I know- I'm the only crazy one who wants to keep the drain in longer! {)i(} Sent from my iPhone using VST {)i(}

marywithoutsound 148 Posted October 10, 2013 I'm a side sleeper too and I found that for the first few days if I rolled a spare duvet up on my right side and kind of rested on that, it was the most comfortable way of sleeping. If you don't have a spare duvet a pillow or two may work the same. Had my first full night's sleep last night and it was wonderful!

Someonefab 25 Posted October 10, 2013 I'm just doing what my NUT told meshakes throughout the day' date=' unlimited leafy greens (lettuce, kale, broccoli), calorie free dressing, and Water. I'm also drinking Isopure zero carb Protein drinks. I'm sure it will probably slow down as I keep going. {)i(} Sent from my iPhone using VST {)i(}[/quote'] Do you get any cramps from the Isopure Protein Drinks? Certain flavors have done that to me. My stomach would cramp so bad that I would have to go to the bathroom. Just curious if it has happened to you! What flavors have you tried and liked?
