cheeze82 59 Posted August 22, 2013 Does anyone know if no added sugar applesauce and sugar free applesauce ate the same thing? Because on my list of foods to eat after surgery it says sugar free, but at the store I can only see ones that sat no sugar added!
DeniseM 238 Posted August 22, 2013 I was only able to find the no sugar added kind as well, so that's what I bought...
LipstickLady 25,682 Posted August 22, 2013 It's about the same. Some SF have added Splenda or artificial sweeteners. I prefer no sugar added. More natural.
ScottsGirl 106 Posted August 22, 2013 No sugar added means artificial sweetener. No sugar added means the food is in it's natural state. Unsweetened means only natural sugar that is produced by the food itself (Same as "no sugar added"). I wouldn't eat artificially sweetened fruit, it might make you sick! Are you at least 3 weeks out to be eating this?
