SuzyB 182 Posted August 21, 2013 I have been planning all kinds of things to keep me busy so I do not have to see alot of food for post op. Of course I will still have to feed my kids so that is going to be hard but easier than deal with a lifetime of health issues.
Sydney Susan 333 Posted August 21, 2013 It gets a little better every day and once you've racked up a significant weight loss you'll get very quickly to your "happy place". It gets a little tougher later on, but easier to deal with when you've fully recovered from surgery and have some more energy courtesy of weight loss. Good luck with it all. marfar7 1,533 Posted August 21, 2013 I couldn't wait to move from liquids to soft foods (4 weeks of liquids)! The day before I was sposed to progress, I woke up nauseous. At 7 pm I realized I had only had 3 oz of Protein shake, nothing else to drink. I waas dehydrated. I was so scared I wouldn't be able to eat food cuz of nausea. But I managed to hydrate myself and enjoyed a scrambled egg the next morning. I feel ur pain. No advice except to stay strong. U CAN do this!
