I am scheduled for the vsg this Friday!! I was supposed to lose 15-20 lbs and has only lost 7!! To be honest, I have had some slip ups but has exercised and eaten right (most of the time)!.. The surgeon said that he will proceed with the surgery but if my liver is too big he won't be able to do it. Should i start over and reschedule or what?! Is there anyone who hasn't lost that much weight and was still able to go thru with the procedure?

Are you on a liquid diet? If so, keep up with that.

If not, maybe trying to do just liquids will get you there.

      The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

        Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
