Aleembran 27 Posted August 31, 2013 I'm about to start ordering mine surgery in 3 weeks sometimes my stomach end up in knots thinking about it:/ keep me posted tell me which ones are good!
back2barb78 890 Posted August 31, 2013 Ok. I did try some Protein drinks from the supermarket and they were actually really good. They are by Bolthouse Farms. I'll try to attach a pic. So yummy I'm surprised! The chocolate one is really good. Haven't tried the coffee one yet. They all have 2 servings/ 30gm Protein per bottle. I'm not great at label reading but I'm sure they are better than eating a typical bacon and egg Breakfast. I pray I still love them after surgery. I found them in the juice section by the produce at Stater Bros {)i(} Sent from my iPhone using VST {)i(}
Aleembran 27 Posted August 31, 2013 Ok I seen these. In the market!!
back2barb78 890 Posted August 31, 2013 I bought some Naked juice Protein Drinks too from that section too. I bought all of the flavors of the Isopure from GNC and I have not tried them all yet, but none of them have really appealed to me. They have a kind of aftertaste that makes me open and close my mouth after a swallow (I don't know how else to describe what it makes me do other than that- like when you taste something funny). But they definitely are more tolerable than the milky ones I've had- EAS, Core power... bleh
Aleembran 27 Posted August 31, 2013 I have been trying to get those isopures but no one so fare carries them. Might have to order on line
Aleembran 27 Posted August 31, 2013 I heard the grape Isopure was good. Some people on here mix them with crystal light
nurseinSD 3 Posted September 1, 2013 I put Crystal light with them and it kinda takes the Protein after taste away. That's the only way I can drink them.

That would be hard with the bolthouse ones. Might want to check w your surgeon.

grateful-1 30 Posted September 1, 2013 Premier Protein tastes good . I don't taste the Protein at all and no aftertaste. I've had the chocolate and the vanilla. Both are good, but I like the chocolate a little more, but the vanilla seems a little thinner if you like the thinner consistency. 3 more days until surgery. I really can't believe it! 2 gmanbat and allthingsnew reacted to this

Never have been that person but now I will be monitoring that! Wishing you good luck in 3 days! {)i(} Sent from my iPhone using VST {)i(} 1 grateful-1 reacted to this
need2bthin! 235 Posted September 1, 2013 I know how stressful it was to wait, but good things come to those who wait! My advice is get everything around your house like you want it! I did a spring cleaning on mine and organized everything for the ppl helping me while i was down an so glad I did my OCD about drove me crazy!! And I was also one of the rare cases that had complications and had to stay in the hospital for a week. Stick to buying samples your taste buds could change mine did.
