Soft Food Stage - Ground Turkey Chili

I am on soft foods and needed something with flavor and spice. I threw a few things into a pot and it was surprisingly good and easy. I can also portion this into eight servings for lunches and dinners.

Serves 8 (1 cup each)

Super Easy Turkey Chili

Brown Jenni-O Lean ground turkey (1lb)

Add

2 cup chicken broth

2 can diced tomatoes

1 jar salsa ( I used Frontera Chipotle)

1 can rinsed black Beans

1 package chili seasoning

Bring to a boil then let simmer for about an hour.

According to MFP the nutrition

Per Serving: calories 166 carbs 17 Protein 17 fat 1 sat fat 0 sugar 5

      The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

        Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
