T - 7 days til BANDING!!!!

Today was my first day on liquids. Boy it was harder than I thought it would be. I am hoping that it gets better.

Does Jello and pudding count?? What about yogurt, cottage cheese, applesause??:help:

Are you on "clear liquids" or "full liquids"? If you are on clear, you can't have any of those. My doctor let me have yogurt starting day 6 post-op. But the others (cottage cheese, applesauce) weren't allowed until "mushies".

Hang in there and STAY STRONG!! You don't want to risk it!

yogurt, cottage cheese, etc. is considered a mushy stage. If you are suppose to be only on liquids then it is anything that can fit through a straw. Soups is a good one for example.

Most of our patients tell us that after 2 or 3 days it becomes a habit and the pre-op diet is easy to stick to. Good luck!
