snsgreeneyedgirl 65 Posted August 25, 2013 Just over 4 weeks' date=' my surgery was July 23rd[/quote'] I feel bad. Im 7 weeks out Monday. Down 40 lbs and havnt (knock on wood) had any of those problems. Except low blood sugar early out which I manage with diet. How many cal. Would you say you get a day? What kind of diet are you on? Ie solid foods yet? I know this journey is different for us all and I prayed to be a lucky one, but it makes me feel for those struggling with fatigue or split nails or whatever. nmck 68 Posted August 25, 2013 I've been feeling pretty good this week until last night and today...I'm exhausted. I think itmay be b/c Thurs. and Friday were crazily busy days and I didn't get enough Protein and was lower on the calorie count both days. I wonder if that is why I'm so freakin' tired! I know I've been light on getting enough fluids. Drinking fluids is my biggest challenge.
ElyQuint 446 Posted August 25, 2013 I have been using my fitness pal to keep track of my vitamin/nutrient intake. I do well most days but still feel tired by 4. Of course this is the first time in my adult life that I'm not hopped up on lattes and sugar. Maybe its withdrawal from artificial over nourishment.

Carissicagail 8 Posted August 25, 2013 how do u know if it head hunger or real hunger?????HELP When it's real hunger you will feel weak and your stomach will growl and make loud noises. Depending on how far out you are you may not be able to feel hunger because the anesthesia keeps everything numb digestion wise for about 1-2 weeks. 1 stamour1 reacted to this
Vegasme 30 Posted August 25, 2013 how do u know if it head hunger or real hunger?????HELP I believe mine is head hunger because my stomach isn't growling or anything I'm just obsessing over how good food looks and tastes but then I'm full quick .. My dr says just drink Water Water water and do an activity to get your mind off it . I find my mouth is salivating as I watch the food channel ( crazy ) . Dr says my mind is trying to get me to think about food all the time to put back on weight bc it doesn't know how to stop the weight loss that is occurring . Ahhh .... 1 stamour1 reacted to this
