DagsboroDebbie 40 Posted September 30, 2013 I was sleeved on September 10 pre op I was 293 and post op I was 273. Last week I I was 264 and my current weight is 270. Is it normal to gain weight back even when sticking to the diet? I'm feeling really discourage right now and I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong. If you are following your eating plan, then a few things could account for the gain - Fluid retention; muscle gain if exercising; and/or PMS/hormones. Have you measured?? I had a frustrating "gain" week; not sure of reason; but I measured & was down a number of inches. Don't be discouraged, just keep doing what you are supposed to do. The scale will move. DeenaF 38 Posted October 2, 2013 No not really I've been constipated. Try Milk of Magnesium, works wonders for me about once a week. No stimulants to mess with your stomach! Also stool softeners help. Also drink your water! We don't get enough Fiber early on so most of us seem to need help "going". Hope this helps tip the scale and get it moving for you! Good luck!
