jenni9579 18 Posted September 1, 2013 I was sleeved on July 24th. At first I was eating an drinking a lot trying to get in my recommended amounts but now at almost 6 weeks out I have completely lost my appetite. I dnt want to eat. Maybe once or twice a day is all because usually I forget to. (I'm still drinking though). Is it possible for my stomach to shrink even more because I'm eating so little? Because when I do eat it seems like it takes less to fill me up. I used to be able to take 4 or 5 bites and I started to feel it. Now it's like 3 or 4 bites. Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced this?

But I'm afraid of losing my hair so I still try to eat enough to get my nourishment. As far as being able to eat less I think I just got less interested in eating more than I need. 2 jenni9579 and stamour1 reacted to this
stamour1 22 Posted September 1, 2013 Well guys I ended my stall yesterday morning when I went down .4 lbs. And today I got on the scale and dropped about 4 lbs!!!! Turns out I was eating to few calories again. This is my second stall and it seems like when I stall it is because I am not eating enough calories and spreading my meals too far apart. I am now at 269.4!!! A total loss of 38 lbs!!!!!! what amount of cal should i be eating im five weeks out ????

RAK 23 Posted September 2, 2013 I had my surgery July 2 down 58 Pounds That's great, does that include any pre-surgery weight loss, or is that all since surgery?
Taels2013 33 Posted September 2, 2013 Hi, Surgery 7/30 Beginning Weight 224 Pre-op 215 Current 198 I'm pleased with the results so far but I wish I could comfortably eat something besides yogurt and the Protein drinks. I tried some fish tonight, tilapia, ate about 2 oz. It feels like the whole portion is sitting in my throat. I'm pretty miserable, really. I'm exhausted all the time and am totally constipated. And I feel like I need an antacid every three hours, when the prescription is for every 12 hours. Sigh. I am praying to feel remotely normal soon. I have so much to do and really, all I want to do is lay around. I haven't left the house in two days for more than 20 minutes. Sorry to complain, I know this is temporary. (God, I hope so!)
