jennifer444 30 Posted August 16, 2013 Haven't won yet, 10 lbs to normal bmi then maintenance forever, but had a major victory this week. The straw that broke the camels back for me to have surgery was being at an amusement park with the kids last year. Got on a ride and buckle wouldn't fit across all of us. Had to get the kids off, but I was kind if stuck in so couldn't tie up ride longer ad had to ride alone while the kids watched. Went back to park this week and 94 lbs and almost 10 months later ---no problem! Best thing I've ever done for myself by far! 8 laurasjourney, avanti, Rozz76 and 5 others reacted to this

gmanbat 5,889 Posted August 16, 2013 Rides do tell you something. Went through a similar thing at Universal, sat, watched, and waited. Now youngest granddaughter and I make everyone else wait while we ride the adrenaline spikers!
LifetimeLoser 208 Posted August 16, 2013 Awesome. I had a similar experience at a Water park a few months back. I think one of the most hurtful things about being over weight is not being able too do things with your children. I have a 3 year old and now I can't wait to take her to Disney world. This was my big thing too! I actually went online and looked up the weight limit of the rides at the local Water park. It was 250 and I was weighing in at 299 . I'm 45 lbs down an planning a trip to Disney in 2 years! I can't wait! 1 gmanbat reacted to this
