Poll: Post Op restriction vs. sweet spot

I am newly banded, 1 week post op and I was just wondering if what I am feeling in restriction is comparable to the "sweet spot"?

I'm at my sweet spot. I have 3ccs in a 10cc band (which holds up to 4.2cc). A sweet spot is when you a)are losing steadily b)don't feel as much hunger c)can eat a fair amount of food and not PB. Its great. I am not hungry all day and eat like a bird now. It took me 5 fills to get to this level. How are you doing post op?

I am feeling really good. I am very restricted. Would you compare your restriction to when you were first operated?

Sometimes you can have restriction like what you are explaining and other time you don't. In my case I could easily eat a normal portioned meal so I needed a fill. Sounds like you are still early in the healing stage and may have some swelling which feels like restriction. I would be curious if you have the same level of restriction in a few weeks. Glad you are doing well. I love my band.
