aksmith 30 Posted August 16, 2013 Does anyone use these? They seem perfect for tortilla substitutes. Pinterest has a few recipes using them, I just wanted to get some opinions!
donewithdieting 44 Posted August 16, 2013 I saw one recipe on pinterest using the wraps with prego sauce, pepperoni, and cheese. They were excellent and fun to serve. Hubby liked them. Can really only eat 2 or 3 so it's a good treat. I baked them in my tabletop convection oven. Linda I also tried the one where you stuff into cupcake pan and make taco. That was good to. I would think kids would like these. We liked them. 1 aksmith reacted to this
Carly4HandinSD 313 Posted August 16, 2013 I've used them, but have found that I like flatout bread better. I found it at a local organic store called sprouts. They have 2 kinds big wraps and a smaller foldable one. I use half of one and its about 7.5 carbs with some lunch meat and cheese... or I have even made pizzas with them, some sauce, cheese and meat... I use it with egg salad.... I use to use won ton wrappers for a lot and even did cupcake bakes with them.. still do occasionally. I have used wonton wrappers for burger cupcakes, bbq chicken cupcakes, hawaiian cupcakes, google won ton cupcakes and you will find a slew of recipes 1 aksmith reacted to this

Are they at Whole Foods or your local grocery store? I like 7.5 carbs!!
mirabelle 64 Posted August 16, 2013 I've seen the flatout breads in my local grocery store and at Walmart near the deli counter. Directly in front of the meat and cheese case. I used to enjoy these preop, I can't wait until I can add them back in.

Not sure if you have them, it is a wholefood type store. They were near their Bagels and things like that. I would ask a local store if they carry them. I have heard you can get them at Wal-Mart. I couldn't find them at mine. 1 Beach Lover reacted to this
penman53 493 Posted September 21, 2013 I think I am going to make chicken enchiladas with egg roll wrappers. I will put shredded chicken, cheese. Wrap them up in the wrapper and place in a baking dish. Then I will pour enchilada sauce over them and bake. I think that they will be pretty good. I will let you all know. I also will make southwester egg rolls (modified) no corn since I cannot have it yet but I will spray them with olive oil and bake them. Then make a nice chipoltle dipping sauce. Can't wait. ChristineR 128 Posted October 3, 2013 Look up emilybites.com and go to her cupcake/muffin area and most everything is used with wonton wrappers. I love using them! 1 Finngirl11 reacted to this
MotownNixie 4 Posted September 21, 2022 This is a topic I need to know about. I love making lasagna cupcakes with wonton wrappers and I wondered if I still could post surgery.😊
