Hey there! I wouldn't go out and buy the video until you have tried it and know you will like it and can do it. I haven't done either of those workouts but know people who have and they are pretty intense. I know you can go on YouTube and look up the Insanity video and you can watch and do the entire video...so you may not need to buy it at all.

I do my elliptical I have at home every other day and on my inbetween days I do Tae Bo videos. I like Tae Bo because it is cardio with a little strenght training in it. But a lot of cardio. You can also YouTube Tae Bo Cardio and pull up tons of videos to look through and see if you like them.

Any exercise is good, so just pick the one that is right for you!

I'm doing T25 (the new version of Insanity that takes only 25 minutes). I wasn't prepared for how much jumping there is! Now, there is a modifier available - someone on the video doing low impact stuff. I like T25 and am getting results but wow - THE JUMPING!

Get one of Jillian Michaels DVDs - like 30 day shred and start with that. I felt that T25 was more "advanced" for me than the Jillian stuff. Just my two cents. Good luck!

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
